"Lovely Auberge in the centre of the village of Correncon. Private parking and the owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. A lovely raclette in the evening with good wine and the company of other guests. A breakfast with too much to eat! I was made to feel very welcome."

This hotel had no bar or restart facilities at all on our visit because it as a Sunday. From what we could deduce Saturdays are exactly the same. To make matters worse there are no alternatives in the near vicinity. As I say avoid at weekends."

"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."
