It's located near the metro. It's not safe at night. I had a great time but understand that the neighborhood looks scary because of homeless people and troubled people but it's actually safe during the day. I had no issues but I stayed in at night. Also, there is lots of cheap food choices nearby. Good...

I travel a lot (weekly) and stay at lots of business chain hotels and was a little nervous about staying at an independent hotel at a relatively low rate but was super impressed with everything. The hotel has breathtaking views at each landing, is close to good restaurants and the in-hotel restaurant is great. Simple food but served with a smile. English was limited but it all worked. I rarely write reviews but loved this place!"
