Also across the street from a BEAUTIFUL park, right by a train stop, and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Just a mile from the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial. As a Westerner who speaks no Mandarin, I was VERY comfortable here and walking the whole area. "

"Very comfortable stay for 4 nights in a sweet, quiet neighborhood near a metro and we ended up gettin nice meals in the same general area. New to Taipei we were at first clueless (go ahead and take a tour!), but met staff and nice folks who helped us. We enjoyed access to the cafe that offered all sorts of yummy snacks. A clean, handsome building that felt homey! Excellent value!"
