"This hotel is very much in the ‘faded grandeur’ class, which is what we liked. The room was huge (a suite with 2 rooms actually) but the main drawback was the tiny bathroom with a shower which indeed leaked, although there was a squeegee and a handy drain. No mosquito protection but luckily we didn’t see any. Breakfast in a very pleasant courtyard. Friendly dog and beautiful affectionate cat. Nice staff, not much English spoken so don’t rely on them for planning trips or transport, etc. Air conditioning fine. Brilliant position in the old town under the acropolis near the Red Basilica and walking distance to Asclepion."
"The hotel and furniture is very old, and there is no elevators. The bed is hard as rock very uncomfortable, and there’s a column in the middle of the room, very small and uncomfortable rooms, and the bathrooms are very tiny and dirty, when I saw the room I asked them to change the room. They said there is NO room, but the hotel was almost empty unfortunately I had to stay there one night but when I need to use the shower I realized the shower head is broken. It was very painful to make a shower because the showerhead was cutting your skin, it was so disappointing, Maybe they have a good rooms too but I have a very bad experience with them so I just wanna share."
"The location is excellent. The room is small with a very small bathroom and a strong smell of smoke. The towels are worn out and old but are clean. Because I visited it in Jan., no other customers checked in the hotel that day by my observation. Some family members are seat at first floor area when I walked in later afternoon that day, and made me thought I got wrong place. Considering the price, it is acceptable. But, I may not recommend it to my friends. "
