"It was a lovely hotel. We highly recommend it- the location is perfect. The quarters are tight and there is a lack of toiletries- no shower soap. A slight musty smell in the air and no A/c but there are great fans which made it very comfortable. It’s Bateaux, it’s an extremely old town so you should know and understand this when visiting. The staff were very nice! The beds were very comfortable."

"A little hiccup on check in when they had accidentally given our room to someone else, but they were very apologetic and gave us several options to make it right. The setting is amazing, just as you would imagine for the French countryside. The location was great for visiting the D Day sites. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. Our room although tight for 3 people, was still wonderful. Reasonably priced. Our only regret was that we stayed just one...
