hotels this stands out as they are open, welcoming, warm with no expectations of an immediate tip or the indifference on not getting one.
The location is amazing close to the pubiic transport with dubrovnik pass, food options and amazing beaches and promenade walk. But still tucked away in a cozy corner of the island.

Sea View suite was large and spacious. However we were offered a room at the lowest floor where the sea view was obstructed by trees which was rather disappointing.
Free parking is great and bus service to Old Town is frequent and very convenient.
We also felt that overall the front desk staff could have been warmer and friendlier. Housekeeping also did not refresh the room properly the stay on the second day.

"Best place to stay in Dubrovnik. Travelled with my wife and 12 year old son and you can not beat the proximity to Old Town and comfort. The buffet breakfast is amazing and so is the staff. Highly recommended!"

Unfortunately the elevator was broken for our 1 day and we had a room up 5 flights of stairs (lots of stairs to climb all over the city). The room was comfortable, luckily with good air conditioning. The charming hourly ringing of the church bells kept me up or woke me up almost every hour of the night, but I would think that one would hear the bells from anywhere in the old city. Breakfast was lovely and included. "
