"We booked a deluxe sea view and it was great, spacious and right next to the pool. We had issues with the internet dropping out which required an engineer to reset. Could not fill the kettle in the sink due to odd shaped tap, had to use the bath tap. The toilet rocked and the shower head was black. I did make a review comment on arrival giving our room number and the following day the house keeping manager came to our room and had these issues fixed.

"7th stay here in the last 9 years and always very satisfied with the hotel, can do with a little refurb in certain areas however it’s still perfect for us, just enough distance from the loud music but also close enough to beach and Bangla rd. also staff are amazingly helpful with every need met. Cece from housekeeping does an amazing job and the attention to details she uses to clean the rooms is absolutely perfect. She goes above and beyond to make sure rooms are kept clean and very respectful....

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was spotless with comfortable beds. They have an app to allow for easier communication which was very convenient for anything we needed. The location is great because it’s a few minutes away from a lot to do and a ten minute walk away from the beach. BYD felt like a home away from home and I would definitely stay here...
