"Hotel is far enough away from the craziness of Bangla Road but still right in the heart of the town. You still hear the loud tuk tuks and boxing promotion cars if you’re in a room near the main road (not the beach road).
We were on our honeymoon and the staff laid out a nice set of decorations on our bed but there wasn’t anything else offered. Not expecting a whole meal for free but a small drinks voucher would have made our stay.

Only negative, walking back up the steep hill after an evening out, it would be great if the hotel offered a shuttle service to the beach and back."
