Amazing location and a beautifully kept mountain lodge. Couldn't be any closer to the rock walls of the mountains. Make sure to call ahead and reserve your dinner spot if you won't be there before 6:00 pm or you'll miss out.
A small, but very clean room. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast choices were already on the table with many choices. A hot dish can be ordered. I hope food items not selected from the platters are not disposed of, as it would be in the States. That's why food trays are not placed on US breakfast tables in the manner done here.
Nicely renovated hotel located in walking distance to the downtown Potes. The property is well maintained and clean. Breakfast is good and complete. Most staff speak little English, but you can get by. Parking is limited next to the hotel, but you can park free on the street across the street.

Things to add, A dish towel and some shelves for clothes would be great. The laundry was a big perk - clean the lint trap in the dryer or your clothes will take forever to dry. The stove will lock your usage if you don’t pay attention - put larger pots and pans on the back burner.
The location is absolutely stunning and the apartments are simple, clean, and well appointed for prepping meals at home (just note there are zero spices or oils so in addition to your food, you will need to bring any seasonings with you). The shower is hot with great pressure and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning is a plus as the window in the bedroom did not open, though it was nice and cool when we were there. There are hiking and mountaineering trails in the immediate vicinity. As a vegan, I appreciated that they included both a vegan and vegetarian option on the dinner menu.
