"Great stop at this excellent hotel. Friendly staff who were most helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and covered the basic needs for a stop. Excellent bed.
Breakfast was also first rate with plenty of choice. A good hotel which we would use again."
"We stayed here in September 2025. I loved the historical character of the place. We had a water view, which was amazing. However, our neighbor had his radio/tv up so loud. You could hear it from the hall. We would not have been able to sleep. Both we and the hotel knocked on the door, but no one every answered. So they moved us that night. When we went back the next morning to get the rest of our things out of the original room, the tv/radio was still that loud. To be honest, I am surprised they didn't enter the room to make sure the person was alright.
I still gave this 5 stars, because the staff did give us another room (not a water view, but it was still nice). The breakfast and dinner were great and saved us a lot of money. The location is amazing. You could walk to town easily from there. I would definitely stay there again. "
"Do not let the exterior fool you. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are relatively spacious compared to other European hotel rooms, you have a private bath, there's no a/c but the windows open and there's a fan. The breakfast buffet was minimalist, but there is a communal kitchen to which you have access 24/7. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is located a block from a grocery store and less than a mile from Gamla Stan. The hostess is incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough good things about our stay there."
"Loved the individually designed rooms and the friendly and very helpful service by hotel staff and especially the dining experience with the Swedish wine pairing added an extra special dimension to our visit.
