This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!
From the moment we checked in (on our honeymoon) until we left 6 days later our experience was awesome. The general manager took the time to learn our name, greet us upon arrival and again as we left. Fellow guests were all friendly. My rental car's battery died and they took care of everything while we were off playing golf. The food, especially daily breakfast, was fabulous. All needs were anticipated without request necessary. All-in-all, a great trip (I highly recommend Barbados as well).
A well-maintained property with clean rooms, great pool and a very nice beach, with helpful staff that are happy to set up sun beds with towels and shade. There is drink service at the beach although a bit slow. However, there is cold drinking water available via self-serve all the time. One important tip - the beach is divided into three by barrier rocks. Of the three sections, the one furthest away from the towel cabana has best ocean floor - with almost no rocks. The other two sections do...
This resort made our trip. We stayed for a week in late September 2015 to celebrate a major birthday. The Colony Club upgraded our room (probably possible only because it was off-season), and started our vacation off right with delicious rum punches and a bottle of champagne. And it just got even better from there. The resort and the island are incredibly beautiful. The Colony Club is low-key and elegant; the staff friendly and helpful...we have nothing but wonderful memories. We'll be...
Very small for a Fairmont but very nice property with all 72 rooms facing the sea. Everything you could want is on the property. Only challenge is that, for those who must roam, you must walk a bit to town, take a very convenient and inexpensive public bus, or taxi if you don't have a rental car.
Staff was the most pleasant and accommodating I have ever encountered.
A wonderful old, colonial era hotel right on the water. Tons of history, amazing service, and a great restaurant right on site. Excellent getaway if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, without many distractions.
If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. The adults pool is beautifully landscaped and feels very special (even had monkey activity). The staff is the best part of the stay - they genuinely want your stay to be top notch- shout out to Ether, Astrid, Tamisha and...
Totally underrated. No frills but that’s the fun part.
If you just want an amazing place to stay off the beaten path especially with a family and have your own little kitchen this is the please
Had a great stay at Mango Bay for five nights in mid April 2017. Reviews were right on. We had a room overlooking the pool with a partial view of the ocean. The pool closes early, noise was never an issue. The beach was small but amazing, highly underrated. The best part is the food! Can't say enough good things about the entire food staff from the chefs, the wait staff they are very pleasant and engaging. The food was the best by far of any resort we have ever been to. The people that work at...
I never review any place I've been, but this place really exceeded my expectations.
First off, I should say: The staff said this was their busy season, with occupancy around 90%. But, it didn't feel that way. No problem getting a table at the restaurants, no problems finding a place to sit at any of the pools... even if we came down at noon, there were always beach chairs available.
Very comfortable property, never felt crowded, great food & restaurant activities on property, lots of good...
Our stay at Blue Monkey was incredible from start to finish. The property is beautiful, but what truly sets it apart is the people. Every employee we encountered was kind, friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure we were well taken care of. You can feel that the entire team truly cares about the guest experience. The rooms were beautifully appointed, with extremely comfortable beds, an amazing shower, and top-notch toiletries. Everything felt thoughtful and luxurious without...
The staff was wonderful, chef made delicious Bajan meals, very accommodating and pleasant stay…will definitely be back- thank you for a relaxing stress free birthday vacation!
We just returned from our second stay, and once again it was such a beautiful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family—they are genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive in every way.
The atmosphere was so peaceful, and the beach was absolutely stunning. Our room was always kept spotless, which we truly appreciated, and made our stay even more relaxing. The food was delicious, and the drinks were just as enjoyable!
A special thank you to Sherri-Anne, Alicia,...
