We were only staying in Kitzbuhel for one night at the end of a ski trip, and most places in Kitzbuhel / Kirchberg either wanted a full 7-night stay or $600 for a single night, which seemed very steep. The Tiefenbrunner was a very pleasant surprise. Quite often when you are in Europe and don't book with one of the big chains, you can get very nice hotel.
