The beds are comfortable, and both the rooms and property are impeccably maintained. The breakfast buffet is a dream — and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of Herr Obermaier Sr., the founder, during breakfast. The hotel also features a cozy bar and an on-site traditional beer garden. Its convenient location provides easy access to downtown Munich via the S-Bahn. We come every year and will continue this tradition. Highly recommend this property. "

"Booked for the first 2 nights in Munich to get over jet lag. Beds were comfortable with good pillows. Room and hotel were very clean. The staff was excellent. All of my questions and requests (like for an extra towel) were answered nicely and quickly. I couldn't hear noise from other rooms nor from the hallway. It was so helpful to be able to make coffee/tea in the room, and to have a small refrigerator. There was also a hair dryer available. It was a short walk to the train (<5 min). Overall I couldn't find anything negative for our stay. I definitely recommend."
