"Staying at the Schatzlhof is almost a lifetime experience. This cozy hotel has a lot to offer: wonderful environment, very quiet, lots of hospitality, great service, outstanding cuisine, and lots of homemade treasures (venison, huge variety of liquors up to home-made whiskey). " The location is perfect for an overnight stay as it is close to the motorway. The bright clean room was basic but functional and so was the bathroom. We stayed in a corner room which looked out of both windows down to a road and there was some traffic noise. The church bells didn't bother us but every step in the room next door could be felt in ours. The hotel offers good meals and the breakfast was satisfactory. All is all it was good value for the money. "

"When i arrived at 4:30 PM i found the Hotel closed.After ringing at the gate, a cleaner opened and told me about the existence of 2 Michel Hotels and the one with reception is about 1 km away.So i went there and checked in and back to the hotel which i got told was a former goverment War Veteran Recovery Unit in the 70-80is.The Hotel was very basic,though it was clean and the breakfast was satisfying.Staff of breakfast service was very friendly.Overall i can recommend this accomodation just for...

The room looked out over the spaciousness of countryside that is so welcoming to us as weary travelers.
