"First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."

"A beautiful and traditional hotel, with exceptional service and traditionally adorned rooms. Breakfast selection is simple but very high quality and again exceptional service. I would recommend this hotel highly and would stay there again. Sad to leave. "
