"Wonderful location for exploring the Skagen peninsula. Local train runs every 30 mins. The hotel complex is simply delightful and definitely worth considering for your stay. The houses are simply perfect. Remember to shop before you arrive, especially if coming out of season as not all local restaurants stay open in quieter times. But Skagen and Lidl etc two stops away, or think ahead and shop before you come. Little hotel snack shop has milk and snacks and some meal prep items. Houses quiet, well maintained, warm and beds and bedding super clean and showers hot. I highly recommend and will definitely go back."

"One night stay, arrived early and left our luggage. We had coffee by the pool as we couldn’t check in. Weather was perfect so it was brilliant. We could have used to pool to if we’d wanted to. Changing rooms and toilets on the poolside i very clean and nice. Checked in on line so just had to pick up our key. The room was spacious and clean. Had an early evening swim which was lovely although the pool was very cold. I would like to have used the jacuzzi. However, a group of guests were having a party in it so I couldn’t. They stayed in it for over 2hours. This was the only disappointment of the stay. I think guest y be limited to a time as the facilities should be available for everyone. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend."

"The hotel is a gem. It has a lovely feel to it inside and out. The breakfast is wonderful and dinner a delight. The seating areas plentiful and to have the fire lit in the lounge in the evening although perhaps a little early really lovely. The stairs but challenging for ladies of a certain age. The prospect of a separate toilet and shower a little off putting but in our case immediately across from our very comfortable and delightful room so actually no problem at all. Easy access to ironing board and iron and staff who were only too happy (it seemed) to take your luggage to your room and in due course collect. We were very pleased particularly with the artist connection to stay there. The food, the service and the bedding quality. We loved our stay and would go back. Skagen itself is special."

"This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff are so friendly and care so much. Upon check-in we were guided through a map of the area with all the highlights. Our room was spacious with a small patio with table and chairs. Extremely well appointed room with everything we needed during our stay. Cozy bed. Sitting area. Bar fridge. The breakfast is incredible. Fresh and high quality with lots of selection. We greatly appreciated this added bonus. We highly recommend this gorgeous retreat and we hope to be back again! "Clean room. Helpful staff. Parking is tight inside but there are free street parking. Walk up to 10 minutes to nearby café, shops and restaurants. Very convenient. Downsides: 1. I had to make my own bed (placing the bed sheets, pillow covers and duvet covers though). 2. Our check-in was not communicated in advance, but that was sorted after a phone call."
