Hotel Castillo de Monda

Magical. Particularly in the evenings, where you can sit outside in one of several semi-private courtyards and enjoy a glass of wine, beautiful garden surroundings, and stunning views over the countryside from the castle's perch. The dining room and bar are also wonderful and the food superb. Room was comfortable, fantastic view. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I'm every back in the region.

Property is absolutely beautiful and service is very good. Staff assisted us on many matters. Even after we checked out and ran into some issues with local rental car company, due to language barriers, we reached out to La Zambra for help and they tried their best. It is conveniently located in the middle, Malaga to the east, Marbella to the west and Ronda to the North. Mijas is 20 minutes drive up the hills.

6 day relaxing and casual vacay and it was wonderful. The Vincci staff were fantastic - everyone was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel is modern, outside areas are great with service and nice amenities. Gym and spa facilities are pretty basic but well maintained. Breakfast was fabulous and being able to sit outside under umbrellas overlooking the ocean was a major plus. Location is about 45 min taxi to Marbella, less to the center of Malaga. Hotel was elegant with extremely attentive, friendly, helpful staff. We felt very welcome. Room was spectacular with ocean view and balcony. Grounds were spacious and welcoming with palm trees and beautiful foliage. Huge indoor pool and huge outdoor pool plus its own beach. Plenty of room for everyone to swim, sunbathe, sit and relax with food and drink inside and out. Bar area inside and out was huge and they have entertainment every night. This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in in my entire life! It was a palace. It had beautiful history. It had a saltwater pool! The staff was absolutely impeccable. Beyond friendly, they made me feel like I was genuinely appreciated and the breakfast was something to behold. The next time I visit Malaga I will only stay at the Miramar. I literally miss the staff already! I could not recommend it more. Luxurious. Bvlgari products in the rooms! I felt like the darn queen of England....
