Highly recommend driving further about 20 min to see Roman ruins and all the sand dunes as well as checking out the kite surf area. The beaches are amazing and nature has so much to offer there in terms of relaxing and hiking.

Tarifa is easy access to the fast ferry to Tangier. Very windy and appears to be a kite surfing destination. Great vibe!

Have dinner at La Pescaderia! Amazing seafood. There was a lovely walkable shopping area we didn't have too much time to explore, but the dinner at Pescaderia was so fantastic.

"Centralized location, spacious terrace with the view of the old street and Iglesia de San Mateo Apostol. Clean room with private bathroom. It’s just like a hotel except for not having a mini fridge in the room. "
"Great location, just outside the gate to old town. staff is lovely, helpful and friendly. Hotel is basic, room is basic. Bed is a little soft. It is very clean and you feel safe and comfortable but I am not sure I would choose it again "
