The property owners are attentive and provide a terrific included breakfast scheduled for the guests convenience. The gated entry provides safe, off-street parking.

The property was magnificent and the host Helen was wonderful. The lights in the bedroom didn't work and they had an awful problem with flies in the room, hundreds of them! Made it nearly impossible to sleep with the buzzing noise! Killed as many as I could but they just kept coming back! A pest control company should contact them!

Manoir de Basses Rivieres is a hidden gem! The property is lovely, beautifully maintained, serene, and fascinating. Be sure to explore all of the caves which are on the grounds, which have been utilized since Troglodytes lived in this area. Guillaume and Arthur are gracious hosts, and the rooms are elegantly and thoughtfully appointed. Unbelievably perfect place to stay! Note: Be sure to reach out to them directly before your arrival, as accessing the hotel is a bit tricky.

The bed and breakfast was great. Throughout our entire stay the host was very welcoming. The pool was nice; although, to get to the pool you needed to enter a cave which seemed pretty scary. The breakfast was also good, serving traditional French pastries like croissants. Overall, I recommended.

It was an amazing stay. The place is absolutely beautiful. The cottage we stayed in was very private and quiet with everything we needed.

Chateau de Nazelles was a lovely place to stay and use as a base for seeing a few Chateaus within 40 minutes. The owners and their staff were especially friendly and offered very thoughtful hospitality. Our accommodations were unique and very comfortable. Just be careful making the turn into the Chateau - it is very narrow and the large stones that have been there a long time are not forgiving. Our rental car didn't have a great turning radius so this was something we really needed to watch...

Wonderful stay. The breakfast was very good with many options.

Enjoyable Manoir, Easy walk to central town and the Chateau. Train station is across the river about a 20 minute walk across the bridge. We did it in the rain and wind should have called an UBER. Our room was large with high ceilings and blue velvet wallpaper. Bed was large and comfortable. Shower/bath was very nice.

Exquisite property in the perfect neighborhood. Close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away from the train station to be quiet. Across the street from the fabulous Les Halle market. The staff were delightful. We can highly recommend that you stay at Les Tresorieres!

Charming hotel in Amboise. You can walk around town and this is a great home base for touring the Loire valley. There is an amazing restaurant right across the street for real foodies/chefs only. (a locals secret which I am happy to share.)

I'd like to echo the many positive comments about this wonderful inn. Olivier and Anne-Sophie (and their sweet dog Lady) were great hosts. The property was lovely and well maintained. Beautiful room (especially the bathroom.) Excellent breakfast. Charming town right in the heart of Chateaux country. Scenic driving and cycling through vineyards. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

What a delightful experience! We decided to splurge and stay in a Château since we were going to the Loire Valley, and were so glad we did! Our room was in one of the cottages, so it was quiet and felt like we had our own house. The breakfast at the Château was wonderful, particularly for the view. Outstanding service as well! Great proximity to Tours and the chateaux.
