"If you want a bit of Cornish history this is the place to stay. Don’t expect 5* luxury, however, the beds were comfortable and self service breakfast was included. The restaurant wasn’t open but the food at a neighbouring pub was good. There was a well stocked bar and games were available to use whilst enjoying a drink.

"Very friendly atmosphere from the start and the staff were so friendly. Room was pleasant, spacious and we slept well. Lovely to wake and stroll on the beach and watch the rollers at breakfast time. The food in the bistro was excellent and very good value.
It was an excellent choice to use as a base for exploring the coastline. We wish them all the very best and hope to stay with yhem in the future. "

"Very nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. Michelle provided very good service and shared some interesting history about the hotel and the local area.
Evening meal and carvery was excellent.
Very convenient car park also.

"A lovely find hidden away off the main street. We only booked the room an hour before arriving but were made to feel very welcome by the young lady behind the bar. Breakfast was cooked by Phil and was delicious and he came out and had a lovely chat with us. I would highly recommend. "
