One of the loveliest B&B experiences ever. Morag, our hostess was a treasure. Her culinary skills and hospitality were exceptional. We stopped for an overnight enroute to Isle of Skye...a respite we won't soon forget.
The Mill was fantastic. The room was well decorated and presented a homely atmosphere. The grounds were like a resort setting: large, beautiful landscape, some history, historic buildings ideally spaced. The bar and restaurant were great. Breakfast were very Scottish and enjoyable.
My only complained was the availability of WIFI.
I had booked for one night, but had to extend our stay.

Set in Elliot territory on the edge of Armstrong lands in the ancient border lands of Liddesdale, this is an excellent location to start any journey through the area in discovering the area’s rich border reiver history.
