"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."

"We had a wonderful time and the highlight of the stay was watching the sunset from the infinity pool. The rooms were spacious with a super comfy bed and pillows. The buffet breakfast and evening meal were plentiful and tasty. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The manager was always available and so kind. All the bar staff were delightful. Mahinda, Ashoka, Kaveesha, Sumithra, Jinuka. Thanks for a fabulous trip."

Room very clean and great housekeeping. Pool towels provided. Some minor maintenance issues could do with addressing around pool (tile grouting). "

"Great property within a short walk / tuk tuk ride from the main city attractions. Our experience started with a seamless airport pick up. The room was spacious and overlooked the sea. We upgraded to one of the suites later ( highly recommended ) which come with its own private pool and a small lawn attached, with views of the sea.
