"We had a much delayed flight, arriving to Iquitos after midnight, but Wilson was waiting there to pick us up! That was very much appreciated after the flight stress/troubles. He gave us a free (very short) ride to the hotel, where he said we didn’t have to do the checkin/payment until next day since we wanted to get sleep. The room was clean and spacious and the shower water was hot. We had a deep sleep. Next morning, breakfast was ready at the requested time and was tasty eggs and bread...

"Clean property but nothing around it"

"The expectations are pretty low in Iquitos, but this hotel managed to slip UNDER them. Staff was unaware of my reservation (having a digital copy of the Hotels.com receipt saved me) and just seemed unable to make things happen. I asked numerous times if I should just go somewhere else, but they seemed powerless to even enable that decision. The room was dirty (stained sheets and hair in the sink drains) and the towels wet. That last point can be forgiven in the jungle, but not when piled...

"We arrived on an early flight, and got to the hotel at 6 AM. We were very tired. They gave us an early check-in in: no extra cost, and no questions asked! When you've been traveling intentionally for two days, this is a huge bonus."
