Wine a bit pricey though. We had a double aspect room overlooking the Wye - view beautiful especially with the autumn colours. "Truly one of the most incredible stays I've had during my many years of travelling. The rooms are exquisite and the hotel is walking distance to main shops in Cheltenham. What truly made our trip so special were the staff - if I could give the staff and service more than 5 stars I would. They went above and beyond to look after myself and my family and were more than happy to help with my 1 year old nephew's needs (e.g. warm milk). Thank you!"

The hotel is huge with a warren of corridors. We were a party of 3, myself & my husband and we were travelling with our grown-up son. I had booked two ‘classic’ rooms therefore it was slightly odd to get our rooms only to discover that my son had been allocated the room with the super king bed and we got given a room with a standard double bed!
