"This is an older motel. It seems to me that they are remodeling it. Our room just had the basics, which is not a complaint. It totally served its purpose-we hiked all day, ate dinner, and just slept there. Beds were comfy. Towels and linens were clean. Room was clean. No complaints. Just know you are getting an older, no frills, but fully functioning, hotel. Location was within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. Didn't actually see any staff during our visit. "

"I pulled in and I immediately knew I liked this place. It just feels homey and comfortable. The staff is great and the room is decorated very well and after being on the road for 2 months it’s nice not having the same old same old. A few really good restaurants just a very short walk away. I had planned to stay one night on my way from Capitol Reef to Bryce Canyon and decided to stay for 2 nights. I write this as I sit on my porch in the nice chair provided while I also look at the mountains. "

"This place is incredible! If you are traveling with children, this is a must stay. Everything is catered to families and it makes it a wonderful stop. Escalante has great hikes — don’t miss Lower Calf Creek and the Petrified Forest — and a great rock shop. The bathrooms at Ofland were lovely, spa-like; the rooms extremely comfortable (except for the hard pillows); free coffee and snacks in the morning was very appreciated; and the food truck was off the chain delicious."
