"The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. "

"Mango House is a great place to stay within the Fort at Galle. Property is at a premium in this area so the room was smaller and more expensive than others on our holiday in Sri Lanka. That said, it was still nice and the breakfast was a treat. Great location for exploring as you can walk anywhere you need to with the Fort."

"Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily, the rooms were functional, the property it self is a bit old, but still very beautiful. Private secluded beaches, you just cant beat the views and how private it is. I initially only had the reservation for 3 days, but extended it to a week. Highly recommend! "

"Beautiful hotel close to Galle Forte with a view to dye for. Loved our lazy days overlooking the ocean next to the pool. Great service and nice food. My husband had to work as we were stranded based on the war, and there was a nice desk where he could work away looking at the ocean. Only minus for us was the pool bar where the served pizza etc. We were the only ones for dinner one night and had to ask for our drinks and food twice?! The seemed totally not interested and did not pay us much...
