"The location of this hotel was my favorite in New Zealand. We had a large ground floor room with spectacular views of the ocean. The hotel is on the beach! Fantastic beach walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Wash/dryer available, free and convenient on site parking."

We went straight to the beach from the property via a forest track where you can watch the sunset. We had a large self catering cottage to ourselves and our room was ensuite. "Nice clean property with decent view of ocean. Has amazing sunsets. Recommend owner add scrubber sponge for dish washing, more hand towels, and dish towels. Also recommend better labels on rubbish, recycle and compost bins because it was a total guess on how to distribute waste. Very good remote property, some highway noise but limited to occasional vehicles. Would definitely stay there again. "
