Teeling Monument is just one of the landmarks located 0.5 mi (0.7 km) from central Collooney, so you might want to stop by for a few pics during your trip. Why not take a stroll along the riverfront and watch the sunset while you're here?
This is a spectacular place! The gardens are beautiful, and the rooms are luxurious. The dinner was spectacular - the very best on our two week trip! My only suggestion would be to have the exteriors of the windows cleaned so that there is no obstruction of the gorgeous views.
The room was very nice. TV a bit dated, tube style, but I listened to the radio anyway. Extremely nice locale, swimming pool, free Internet, breakfast included. The breakfast was outstanding; as good as you'd have anywhere. I ate in the hotel and, whilst it was around €24 for a three-course meal, it was very well prepared and first-class.
The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in outside of 5-star US hotels.
Lovely quiet location with beautiful views across the lake. Friendly welcome, fresh-smelling sheets, spotless bathroom and varied breakfast - fresh fruit and yoghurt, nuts, cereal toast and tea and a full Irish breakfast if you wish.
Would absolutely stay here again.
Property was beautiful. Only issue was kids not allowed in pool after 6 or 7pm. Hotel clerk recommended The Venue in Strandhill for dinner. Great seafood and best chicken wings anywhere.
We had changed our reservation, but the hotel had not received the information. However, the staff happily made the change and gave us a lovely, large suite. Very modern, though sparsely furnished. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Wonderful pastoral views. Best breakfast so far after two weeks travel.
Fantastic staff and hotel location - loved the staff here who are young, friendly and helpful. Prices are economical for a hotel this close to the beach and we certainly loved the hotel amenities here.
We were totally impressed with the Riverside. Simple eloquence. Wonderful staff. Good location. A fine breakfast experience. Riverside is top notch first class.
This is a great spot when visiting Sligo. Right in the center of town, easy walk to all of town and over to Dooly Park for the Rose of Innisfree. Gym facilities were quite nice and modern. Room was spacious and comfy.
Note the property does not have AC but they did provide us a fan. If you are concerned about super hot stays in mid summer just note that. Staff was very helpful and friendly would stay again!
Gorgeous! The property is right on the ocean with beautiful Mountain View’s. Inside is impeccably decorated. It’s a five minute drive to an ocean cold plunge and sauna with a view of Benbulbin. The bed is comfy. As an American, the shower is 10/10 luxury, and downstairs the food is incredible. We will be back again! No notes!
Rosdarrig House is a beautifully maintained residence. The room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Our hostess and her helper were very accommodating. The only drawback was the evenings were very chilly so I couldn't sit outside in the garden to watch the sunsets. That's no fault of our hostess.
