"The photos do not do this location justice! It is even more beautiful. I usually stay in Tuscany but now Umbria is at the top of my list. Besides being elegant, comfortable, and super clean, Borgo Pulciano Agriturismo is very affordable! It is super pet and family friendly. It also has probably the best breakfast I have ever had in Italy! And there are 2 pools! Absolutely the best! "

"Amazing location! Great pool with astounding views. The rustic chic style of the place is gorgeous! The real surprise was the truly excellent food! Dinner was delicious!!! The only downside were the wasps. I know this is not really in their control. But I saw no attempt to deal with them. None of the guests could eat outside at breakfast. I understand the staff may be used to them, but the guests are absolutely not. I would go back for everything else, but the wasps would stop me from returning...

"Being at the top of the hill meant walking most places was down hill. Still some places to walk up mainly to the larger piazzia. Great dining around the hotel both for breakfast and dinner. Beautiful older state house with large open area overlooking Perugia.

We stayed here one night and came back to the city on our last day of our holiday and they graciously allowed us to leave our bags here whilst we explore the city on our last day, even though we weren't staying at the hotel that night. We really appreciated this.

The staff was friendly and made an effort to solve all the problems, including the cold in the room (due to the crisis, it was forbidden in Italy to turn on the heat). The hotel was full of guests and, on the first nights, they gave us extra blankets. After three days, the problem was solved by changing the room.
I had an emergency and needed to work on the computer one night. They provide me with one computer and Internet access.

"We stayed at Il Gabbiano whilst attending a family wedding at Castillo Borgia. The location was perfect, we could walk to the castle if needs be and very near to shuttle guests. The staff at Il Gabbiano were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The rooms were clean - maybe could do with a bit better shower but over all good value. The restaurant and pizzeria were excellent. We had a wonderful 5 days thanks to Gianni and his staff. Would recommend. "
