Good size town that offers everything you need for a vacation. Ample restaurant choices, good beaches, felt safe and is clean. Good shopping at reasonable prices. There are things to do around town as well in nearby villages.

A lovely rustic town with a huge selection of lovely restaurants. Recommend Trattoria Lo Romani and Mabrouk (but you need to book in advance in person)

Visit the old town. It is charming, but could easily be missed it you don't walk to the city walls.

Great food in a very scenic old town, nice shops and amazing ice cream
"This hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is great, jus few blocks from the historic center. The room was very spacious for our family of 4 (2 adults-2 teens) with beautiful views from all windows. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, they have such a big variety of food, cold and hot, very clean and neat. We had rented a car for our stay in Sardinia and the parking was easy, some days we found free parking spots, some days we had to pay at the meters but it is very affordable. We felt very safe at all times. We walked every night to have dinners at the historic center every night. There is a super market only few feet away. We will absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be back"
