In the day we saw many birds. The little side kitchen was nice, and the hostess cooked very good breakfasts of local food, much of which they grew. This was one of our favourite places we stayed in CR. "

Communication with the host was excellent—he went above and beyond by arranging for his dad to check me in at 1 PM, an hour earlier than the standard check-in time. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, and the view was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!"

"Stayed 4 nights in the Amatista villa. Beautiful views of the lake and a the volcano. Twice sure our stay after the rains vibrant rainbows would appear across the lake. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner, breakfast was included with our stay. Found it to be very windy on that side of the lake but would definitely recommend for those looking for somewhere a little quieter but still fairly close to...
