Beautiful interesting place to stay. Felt very welcomed. Lovely comfortable large room. Enjoyed the hot tub, the views, the fascinating tour of its history and builders. Delicious food served graciously. As they say, the road is very rough getting there but it was no problem for our driver. Hiked around the area and sat by the huge fireplace. We loved it!!

As I entered the premises I was truly impressed with the layout and cleanliness of the establishment. My room was clean and comfortable as well. Very nice place to stay near the airport. We stayed here one night on our way home from the Galapagos Islands. It was a short 10-minute taxi ride ($10) from the airport. This is a secure (locked gate) B&B set on about 1 acre of lovely gardens. We arrived there tired and hungry, she prepared us a simple but decent dinner for $9/pp, an early breakfast at 5:45 am and a ride to the airport at 6am for our early flight home. She was very accommodating - just what we needed at a good price.

The hotel was lovely! The grounds are beautiful, with fruit trees and flowers. There is a nice area around the hot tub to sit and relax and two swings if you have children. The breakfast was very nice; fresh fruit bowl, freshly made juice, scrambled eggs and toast with butter and jam. The coffee and hot water for tea are on all day. When we asked for milk for our coffee, we were served warmed milk! How nice!

The room was very comfortable. The restaurant was very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful. It is very remote so hiking and horseback riding are the options - what I was seeking. Took in the night sky given the darkness that surrounds. The road from the nearest town to the hotel is in horrible condition but being replaced, at least in part. Highly recommend if you seek a remote, stunningly beautiful experience.

This hotel is an old hacienda from 1910 with a cool nature trail. There is a great breakfast provided in lovely dining room with a fire place. The land scape is nicely maintained with pretty flowers and birds all around.
We even were feeding llamas with carrots. It is all plesantly surprising finding for the hotel within 15 min from the airport.

We had to evacuate Quito emergently during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. Unable to get a flight that night, we purchased nights at the Hotel Alpachaca for $20 / night / room. Turning onto the dirt road, we were nervous. Happily, the hotel was well built, clean, and staffed by friendly people. Considering the prices in the area, this hotel was a great value. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Close to the airport as well. We had two rooms and stayed for two separate dates and there were no issues. Seems like a family-owned hotel (but not sure). Either way, it is safe pick and very fair price.
Beautiful authentic boutique hotel. I had to stay one night on my way to Galapagos and did not want to stay at one of those chain modern places. This hotel is very charming, with hammocks outside and place to walk safely on the property. Bonus airport transfer included. Onsite restaurant open till 10PM with great food.

The hotel is a marvel and the Manage of Operations Juan Carlos Rios is tremendous--he is everywhere--greeting you upon arrival, getting the bellman to take luggage to the room, park the car, then in the restaurant and even assisting with travel directions for your onward journey. Stayed one night for a layover in Quito. Very close to the airport, simple amenities but enough for one night. They offered free shuttle service to the airport, I just gave the driver a tip. Would recommend for airport layovers.
