"What a great hotel! Wonderful staff, super comfy sheets and beds. High ceilings. Small fridge and coffee maker in room. We stayed 2 weeks and the location is super convenient to travel to other parts of Netherlands via train. Rented bikes from hotel a few times & that was super fun. Full grocery store across the parking lot with excellent food options. The lobby is HUGE with plenty of space for meetings or work calls or just to chill. Front desk staff was friendly & efficient. Highly recommend."

"Il Van der Valk di Hoorn credo sia l'hotel più efficiente del mondo. Pulito e confortevole. Al 14 piano un'area spa con una piccola piscina, una sauna e una palestra. Colazione a buffet strepitosa. Lontano dal centro raggiungibile in auto o in bici fornite dall'hotel. Ottimo ristorante in cui una sera abbiamo cenato. Se non volete pagare la colazione 21,5 euro ci sono 2 bar, al bar al primo piano c'è anche buon cibo. Nella struttura è presente anche un cinema e un casinò. In camera set di cortesi Rituals e phon, bollitore, macchina del caffè e frigo. Tornerò sicuramente nella mia splendida Hoorn e al Van der Valk. "

"Brilliant with great value for money!!! Arrived quite late but was made welcome from the start. Hotel room with window walls and breath taking view over the water. Immaculately clean with high attention to detail. Nice space with a little kitchen, table with chairs and bathroom. Nice breakfast with all expected recipes. There is a 24H reception bar with light meals.
Young crew with a high professionalism approach.
My daughter left her wallet behind and received a call with instructions on how to get it back.
Summary: Stress free place to rest from all the busy endeavours in the city centre. What happens in Amsterdam stays in Amsterdam :D"

I was accomodated for an early check in at 10am. prior to coming to amsterdam I emailed the hotel about our early arrival and so happy they have accomodated my request.
