The instructions on classifying the rubbish is very clear and can definitely be understood by tourists who don’t read Japanese. The staff can speak in both Japanese and English. They were very helpful and friendly. They offered to help me check out before I even asked for it. The surrounding area is a residential area so it’s very quiet and safe. I walked to the hostel from the station a few times...
