Even after he had picked up and said he was sending it, he still didn’t and we had to call him back again. This was all last minute. We had originally booked to stay in the bigger apartment but the owner sent a message on the app to say he had double booked us and were we happy to stay in a smaller apartment with a shared kitchen rather than a private one. "A stay built around our dogs proved to be perfect. Great friendly atmosphere and top quality produce in the meals and breakfasts. Very thoughtfully provided an information sheet of village walks for the dogs also spare bowls , towels and treats. The evening meal menu was very appealing and the dog menus were a lovely touch. The room was a decent size with all conveniences and a very fluffy bed. Definitely recommended for travels with your favourite furry friends so that’s 5 stars from us."

"Excellent hotel with very good rooms, quiet location on the edge of a large park. Plenty of parking and off beaten track so secure in that respect. Nice restaurant with varied menu choices; breakfast excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely use this again in preference to others closer to or in the town but really need car to access."
