If you're planning a bit of sightseeing during your trip, head to Paracas Candelabra— just one of the landmarks located 0.9 mi (1.5 km) from central Puerto General San Martin.
Notable for its seaside, Paracas features attractions such as Paracas Golf Club and El Chaco Beach. Visitors to this beachside city speak highly of the restaurants whereas sights include Paracas Port and Paracas Candelabra.
Paracas is for wind sport and offroad, it is for pool and not the ocean. Red Beach is worth a picture. Overall, travelers have to know accept that this coast of Peru is not known for beaches, moreso vistas, adventure, sun and food.

I would recommend the tours to the Islands and the Dune buggy rides.

We enjoyed boat trips to the Islas Ballestas and a drive around the Reserva Nacional de Paracas. The homemade quality soups at the Sol de Paracas were great as were the breakfasts.
"We had a late arrival and every single staff member was so kind and welcoming and helpful despite the time. We also had an early departure and would miss breakfast, so they packed us individual meals to go and helped us with transportation back to the tour group’s meeting spot. The place is in a quiet, residential area with a friendly schnauzer watch dog in the vicinity. It’s helpful to know that there are no Ubers there but private drivers are available if needed. There’s a beautiful ocean view and a sweet patio area. I enjoyed the three pillow options offered. There are no restaurants nearby but they do have a lovely restaurant that serves quite late. They have a guard that was so sweet to us and was happy to offer information about beautiful Paracas — he was identifying fish and birds and offering information about the diversity of Peru.
If you’d like a spot by the ocean that’s tranquil — Atoq Paracas is perfection. "

"Beautiful property, warm and friendly. Excellent amenities. Christian at check out was good as well. Service is fantastic. Only thing to be aware is the price. Super expensive, but great quality. "
"The location is only minutes walk from our bus meeting point. The place is clean and safe. The staff suggested a very nice seafood restaurant nearby which is delicious."
