"We had a fantastic stay. By far the best hotel we stayed at during our month in the Philippines. The hotel has been completely renovated and only opened in November 2025. Everything is new and beautifully designed. The staff are all incredibly attentive and make sure you have an amazing stay. Since it is new, there are still a few minor points that could be improved, but nothing significant. We will definitely be coming back!"

"We loved this place, staff were kind friendly and helpful. They set up airport transportation, tuk Tuks to go places, helped with organizing tours. You can walk to river side lunch cruise area. It was clean and had a great restaurant. We enjoyed our 2 nights there! "

"Very welcoming and relaxed, they have drivers & tour guides available which was fantastic the property is not close to other services which was no problem for me as the food service at Hayahay was very good my room the loft was big enough for 2 x couples or family the pool was terrific I did swim out the front on high tide."

"The Thistle Inn is a lovely, nice oasis. The room was very clean and the service was outstanding. It is a well-run family-owned business. The owners organized airport pick up, our motorbike and car rental, and quickly addressed any questions we had during our stay. Would highly recommend it! "

"There is in fact 2 hotels - the rooms in the new part is of corse more modern but small and no windows (!). No pool but 20 meters from beach. Remember : u must carry your luggage 100 meters down the dandy beach so dont bring heavy suitcase. Nice staff"

"This hotel is within the city, markets, malls church restaurants are walking distance and if you prefer to ride, transportation are just outside the hotel doors. Parking is alright. I stayed in the newly built building, more space, nice beddings, clean white towels, the old hotel building wasn’t as spacious. They have buffet the food are delicious and different dish every other day. Check in was easy, staff kind polite and hospitable. The price of the hotel is descent. "
