We stayed for spring break. Upon arrival and getting to the room, I was shocked at how bad the rooms were. There was what looked to be a blood stain on the comforter. The food was hit and miss and definitely made me sick at some point. The seafood market restaurant was not ok. It took over an hour to get a table to eat every meal. You had to sign for everything you got, even a bottle of water. The staff ignored you most of the time. The pool was lovely and the best food was around the pool during pool service. You couldn’t get coffee before 7am, and the coffee at the coffee shop was terrible. The beach had lots of trash. Overall definitely a 3 star hotel, not the best service and the rooms need major help! Highly recommend Cancun area compared to puerto Vallarta. The town was expensive and there is trash everywhere in the entire area. Can rides are expensive everywhere you go.

Part of this property is in the middle of a possible remodel. However do not let that deter you from staying here. All property functions are available except for the sports bar. There are 2 main bars which provide excellent service. Hints for future guests would be poolside service does not start until noon. During the day that is by far the best food and drink option and the service was top notch. Only con of the resort is part of it is a timeshare and not all inclusive. So if you are all inclusive you still have to sign a ticket for every transaction. This makes the process quite a bit longer and could easily be digitized by scanning a bracelet. You also have the worry that you may be getting charged something extra to your room such as an upgrade as there really is no check process to make sure someone is giving the right room number. In the end we believe we were charged for our correct upgrades however it makes you wonder each day if everything was correct. There are no reservations required at any of the restaurants like many other all inclusives we have stayed at. With that do not expect high end steaks lobster etc however the food overall is above average from many of the other all inclusives we have stayed. It is nice that you dont have to waste time each day trying to book a reservation only to be told it is sold out and then that night only a half dozen people make it to their reservation.

Staff was very friendly but there was no communication. We ordered room service that took 3 hours. Not having a buffet for lunch made things chaotic. Servers were hard to find and when you did order food, it took Atleast an hour.

Overall the staff and service we received was great. However, the property is old, needs major restoration in buildings, rooms, lobby,spa and gym. The restaurants are open not enclosed so it’s inconvenient when it’s cold and windy.

All was great. Did not like having to sign the bill at every single meal and buffet, even just for bottles of water. All inclusive should not have to worry about signing everytime. Need a coffee bar and water available. Otherwise lovely pool area. Food was okay.

Great location if you're wanting to be by some shopping and the port for boat tours. Easy access to/from airport. Liked that my bracelet was also my room key. Clean. The food was ok. Comfortable bed. No construction noise but found out they're demolishing the building soon to build a new one in its place so possibly issues could be related to lack of investment if they're about to tear it down. Dated rooms and systems. While I did have all inclusive, was forced to sign for everything and it was clear their system was slow (not all the waiters' fault) but I consistently waited 15-30 min for the bill after asking for it. Wait staff was understaffed as it was near impossible to get attention from a waiter. Places by the pool were consistently full so only was able to get chairs at the beach where people selling goods would frequently pass.
