The location is excellent. If you are looking for a place just to sleep without concern of the amenities, this is the perfect place. It is in an area with easy access to public transportation but the room was not like the pictures. The facilities are very old and the staff is not very friendly, except for the security guard. Also, the hallway smelled like marijuana all the time. Excellent area, but they should improve the facilities.

I didn't really like the apartment I stayed in because the bathroom was dirty, the carpet on the floor wasn't pleasant, there was a piece of stained wood on the floor, the kitchen didn't have a sponge to wash the dishes, the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep in, and there was no parking, you had to pay for something that was already included. If you're not going to spend a lot of time in the room this place is for you...rate is exceptional room was a 7.. out of 10 for well-known travelers probably a 5. I kind of expected more based on the location....let down there ... I was hoping for an 8. Area is definitely a 10.. The rooms could use some cleaning up... But did have a full kitchen and the fridge and the shower which made my day. ... I would stay there again especially for the cost.. great trip..

Bare bones

I booked this last minute and to be honest based on price. And I got exactly what I paid for. The property is NOT a hotel...it appears to be condos that people rent out. The property itself is fairly grubby, but OK. There was a pool and direct access to the ocean and the walking/bike path. Nice. The room was very plain. The bedding was minimal, but comfortable. The A/C worked. I could connect to the wifi, but there was no internet when I did. I actually had a partial view of the ocean and pool area, but no balcony from which to really enjoy it. There was a coffee machine in the kitchenette, but no coffee and no paper towel, so you'll want to do some shopping at the convenience store across the street. The fridge worked. There is a Hilton two doors down with a fun bar and restaurant, and another good restaurant across the street. But you'll be taking a taxi to much of anything else. In short, it met my needs as a single guy just wanting a place to crash, but I would not take a wife, girlfriend or family here...spend a few extra bucks and go to a real hotel. They are selling units for $300k-ish, and I considered making the investment, but I think you can do much better. The building is really kinda bleak. The drive from MIA is over an hour in heavy traffic, but at 4am on a Sunday morning we did it in 20 minutes. Would I do it again?...eh, in a pinch mostly because I know my way around it and the area. Would I recommend it to friends? Absolutely not. They'd never forgive me.

The location was good, but the hotel was not. It smelled bad and it was very outdated. The room was very outdated and the cabinets smelled bad and they were falling apart. The advertisement on Expedia was incorrect. It sad that they have heated pool, which was important to us during the chilly months of the year and in fact they had an extremely cold pool. On the web-site it said that parking is 15 a day but they actually charge 35 per day instead. Based on the conditions of the hotel, service and misrepresentation of advertisements I wouldn’t recommend it.

The sheets had stains on the when we arrived. The room was outdated but for the price we did kind of expect that. I was told we would have to pay extra for any additional sheets however when I told them they had already started out looking dirty they finally gave us new, but that was several nights into the stay. Most staff didn't speak english so there wasn't great communication or friendliness. It was nice to have the pool and beach within walking distance. Windows would open but no screens which was disappointing because if you wanted fresh air there was a fear of birds flying in. We also had a decent leak from our AC unit running down through the drywall causing it to bubble up and pool on the floor which caused me to slip and fall.
