Hotel was very clean, all staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms spacious and well equipped, beds very comfortable. The level was lovely, good selection of drinks and snacks, breakfast was fresh with plenty choice. The level pool and sunbed area only gets sun till about 12am which is a pity. The other pool area is quite enclosed too so limited sun. There is a sunbathing area at the front which gets sun from mid day till sun set.

Perfect escape to relax. Visited off-season in Nov and found it very calm and relaxing. Rooms are lovely with great balconies facing either the beach or the marina. The Level club is brilliant with its separate heated pool and well-stocked coffee, beer, wine and snacks all day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I'll be back!

Room while not very big was very comfortable. Good mattress and linen. Quiet. 'The Level' is a bit unusual! It has generous free offerings throughout the day, snacks, tapas, and beer / wine (they could promote this better), and full bar for an hour or two in the evening. But, unfortunately the 'deck' is very disappointing with a tiny 'pool' and after about 11am it doesn't get any more sun, so not a place to really sit out on for the rest of the day. Also getting to the 'level' requires a lot of walking through the hotel. All a bit strange. Right next to beach, which is great, and just across the road and you are in the 'old town'. All a bit mixed overall. Unlikely to stay here again, but wasn't so bad either.

This property is located in a great location. The views are wonderful and easy to get to. The morning breakfast was phenomenal; they even had warm oatmeal, which I only find in great hotels like the Melia. We will be returning and were sad to leave. I booked two rooms for my husband and I, and my two adult kids. They loved it! I based my experience a lot also on theirs as well, and they enjoyed it a lot.

Amazing views

Overall very good. A couple of points to consider. The adults only isn’t strictly true. There are children around the main pool and in the restaurant that you have to go to get your half board evening meal. Also in the restaurant the meal is included in your package of half board but the drinks aren’t not even a glass of water. The adults only section is on level one of the hotel where you can drink and eat and have the canapés and snacks. This is a lovely space with amazing views but you aren’t allowed to take drinks to your room and no refreshments around the pool area unless you buy your own. I highly recommend this place but be mindful of the all inclusive label.

This was our first stay at a Melia hotel and we were very impressed. The hotel was in a good location and the room was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly and everything was seamlessly efficient. The only two downsides for us were the fact that the rooms and the pool areas were only in sun for half a day, so to sunbathe within the hotel environment was not really an option - at least not for very long. The beach was a 2 minute walk, which is fine for beach-lovers! The other minor irritation was an entrance door by the main swimming pool area which led to the seafront. It was constantly being banged open and shut as people went through. A small fix could probably solve that one! We will definitely use Melia again - and in fact are about to book the next one - but probably wouldn't return to the Alicante one for the reasons given.

Nice hotel ia a fabulous location. We booked a premium roon ans it was modern, clean with a coffee machine and fridge. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. The complimentary drinks and snacks were much appreciated. The hotel was getting renovated when we were there but this didn't impact our stay.
