Enjoyed our two night stay at Campanile Fontainebleau. Clean, quiet, comfortable room, but found the bed a bit too firm for our taste. Realitively new hotel with good sized rooms. Plenty of parking available on site. Great location with walking distance to Château de Fontainebleau. Unfortunately our room had a noticable sewage smell in it but our friends room was fine. Some usual basics are missing in this hotel. No in room safe or ice around.

Great location, parking and breakfast!

The room was a good size and very clean. The reception desk and bar are only open very limited hours. The check-in time is very late - 5pm, and our room was only ready a few minutes after this. You have to explicitly request your room to be cleaned (if you can catch the receptionist!). On the plus side, the location is excellent, there is lots of free parking, and the breakfast is really great. We would stay at this hotel again.

It was a nice little hotel. The garbage was full but house cleaning cleaned it. Mom liked how hard the bed was. I didn't like it at all. The bathroom lighting has issues because it's on the side instead of above, and the hair dryer doesn't reach the mirror in the bathroom better than that. It was a nice room.

We really liked the location, just a few minute walk from the Palace. Free on-site parking was a big bonus as well. The room was clean, looked like new, and bedding very comfortable. Now what not to like. $18 breakfast per person is too much. We had great coffee and pastries in a nearby bakery paying just $7. And the check-in was really bad. The reception was supposed to open at 5pm, but it was still closed at 5:15, with several guests waiting. Luckily we found that after 5 the check-in machine starts allowing guests in (before 5 it was saying that room isn’t ready yet, which is a small lie). One of the guests tried to call the hotel number on the reservation, but the call went nowhere. Summarizing, I would promptly had given this hotel a 5-star review if the check-in started at 3 with a person at the front desk.
