It's a little further away from central Amsterdam, approx 30-45 mins away but the hotel sits right next to Almere Centraal. It's a good stay in general. The staff are very friendly and helpful when we needed anything. The room and everywhere else we can see in the hotel is very clean. We have a family studio with a small dining table and a kitchenette which comes in handy when we brought back leftover foods or just want to have fruits. The room is fairly spacious. Another highlight is you can do laundry yourself for just a few euros.
However, the listing advertised the family studio as having four single beds. It would be clearer if it just mentions that there are two single beds plus a double sofa bed. We were a little confused at first as we were not expecting sofa beds (and without linens, we had to ask for the linen and do it ourselves, not what I was expecting from a 4-star hotel.) There wasn't a restaurant in the hotel and the pool was not open yet, which is a shame. As a 4-star hotel, the service and amenities are minimal.
