The property is in a very convenient location, with easy access to the bus center and by extension, the airport. Many key pick up locations for tours are close by the square. However, the Pz. Garibaldi is a rather chaotic, dirty, and originally intimidating area. Once we got accustomed, it seemed to be less "scary" than at first glance. The main street to the harbor and old Spanish District is a couple blocks away, but you have about 1.5 km (20-25 min of walking) to get there. The room is on the 5th floor and there is a small, quiet elevator to use to access it. The room amenities are minimal, nothing fancy, but clean and functional. This is for the traveler who wants a short stay and does not plan to hang out in the room much. Complementary breakfast was a coupon for a coffee and croissant at a cafe across the street. We had some questions and issues the first day and our host was accommodating and helpful. Any questions regarding booking, maintenance, etc were quickly responded to via WhatsApp.
