This hotel surpassed our expectations. The lobby is grand, breakfast buffet great, all of the staff we encountered friendly and helpful. The room was freshly updated on the top floor. We loved how the gym and indoor pool were in the same area, perfect for active families and supervision. We were able to get into our room four hours early rather than having to store our bags, which made everything really relaxed on our first day in DC. The location was great for an easy walk to the Capitol and the museums, longer walk to the Tidal Basin and monuments. We knew we wouldn't use the car, so we parked in a garage around the corner that was a very good daily rate. We will definitely recommend this spot to friends for future DC stays.

We had an exceptional stay (this is not sponsored and I rarely write reviews but had to for this one!). We were able to check in early and the room was lovely and clean for myself, husband and our daughter. We made use of the gym and pool which were beautifully maintained and the gym was up there with one of my favourite hotel gyms (I travel a lot for work). My daughter had seen a picture of cookies and asked if they had any available and the staff were so helpful and baked her some fresh! We had the buffet breakfast included with our stay which was wonderful, lots of options and the service was very good, the hotel was also in a great location for seeing the major sights of DC and walking distance from great coffee, restaurants and attractions. Will definitely be visiting again! Special mention to Daryl on the front desk who made our stay so lovely.
