Great location. The apartment is well stocked. Right at the bottom of Rainbow Road, so it’s a bit loud at night, but walking distance to many locations.

We thought this place was a complete dump. It was expensive for a dirty rental, the sheets were not clean and covered in hair. The arrival was difficult, the room keys were not labeled on the lockbox so had to try multiple before we found ours. Although the communication was good, we were quite shocked by the conditions of this rental, especially given the price.

Great apartment located at walking distance from the major attractions of Reykjavík. The room overlooking the Main Street is quite noisy due to the garbage collection scheduled early in the morning

The bed was really comfortable. The only downside is that the main door is really loud and people come in at every hour. Other than that, awesome location, clean little apartment with everything you need to cook. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay at this property! Our room overlooked rainbow street and everything was in walking distance. I enjoyed this stay and would recommend this to anyone! It’s reasonably priced as well compared to other hotels and apartments. The only thing I didn’t know before hand is that where you can store your luggage before check in is at the other Odinn Reykjavik apartments so we did have to take a taxi to drop off our luggage and pick it up once our room was ready at this location. Other than that, I would say it was a 10/10 stay!

Excellent location for downtown shopping. The rainbow road is just outside the door. The condo was clean and stocked. Definitely some street noise, but that’s to be expected from the location. It was pretty warm inside and difficult to cool down.

It was fun being right next to rainbow road! The stairs getting to the apartment need some work, but the apartment itself was nice and had a great view. Would be a great location for people who want to be close to restaurants, shopping and night life. One challenge was finding parking and gettinf iur luggage there. We stayed on a friday night and needed to walk atleast half a mile with luggage on bumpy sidewalks (or on the road when there weren't sidewalks) to get to the apartment.

Location is perfect

Picture shown as advertised as luxurious apartment was not how the actual apartment looked like. The lighting inside the kitchen area was so dark. Sofa bed was offered for 2 people but cushions were not of the same level. I’ll give it a 10/10 for location because it’s in the center of main attractions and a lot of shops/eating places around.

I’ve travelled all around the world but I must say, Reykjavik has my heart. In part was because of this cozy apartment that feels like home. It’s conveniently located in a central area of Reykjavík, which was walking distance to many restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Both BSI and the harbour were 10 minute walks and got to enjoy excursions outside of Reykjavík. As a female traveller, neighborhood felt safe and the building was secure. Beds were cozy, linens were clean, check in/out was seamless. We did arrive in the early morning so it was dark and couldn’t see where the key box was and contacted the hosts who replied very quickly. We’ve decided that we’re coming back next year and definitely going to stay here.

There was a steel commercial banner for a shop right below the window. With the strong wind of Reykyavick, the steel banner was making huge noise all night (imagine someone banging on a steel door all night). We could barely sleep because of that noise. The check-out time of 10am was a bit early, especially when the owner requested us to remove all the bed linen off the bed, put all dishes in the washing machine, and take out trash.

This property's location is superb, everything is on your doorstep, the flat was spacious and the beds were comfortable and plentiful. And it was warm - though most of us thought much too warm. However, the property needs significant maintenance and updates. The communication with the property management was poor in that they barely responded and the television didn't work at all and the internet was very patchy.

They partied all night long

Great location, but the nightlife noise was very loud on the weekends ALL NIGHT long because the bars are open until 4:00 a.m. Parking was a challenge to find and usually a few blocks away - paying through the parking app was also a little confusing and resulted in us receiving one parking ticket, which we paid at a local bank. Other than the inconvenient parking and constant loud noises from bar music and patrons (we heard all the way up to the top floor penthouse) - which kept us awake until 4am, we had a good stay.

I booked mid afternoon for a 1 night stay. Got to the property with my family later that evening, and found some lock boxes on a graffiti filled back alley. There way no communication from the owner on how to get in, so I was stuck on the street in winter with my family. Expedia wouldn't help. I had to re-book at another hotel so we wouldn't freeze. Owner refused to refund our money, even though the room we paid for was never made available to us. AVOID THIS PROPERTY

On Rainbow road. Loud 24/7 if facing the street. You will not be able to enter apartment before 3pm (with NO exceptions ) so, if you have an early flight in, you might want to consider a different place. Good walk ability to everything. Really difficult to find entrance and keys are in a different area altogether. Didn’t receive codes or info until after noon. This is to make sure you don’t enter apartment until 3pm. Very nice apartment but no shampoo/ice. They were good at communicating except sending the code to enter. We won’t stay here again bc it was so loud and need flexibility if we arrive early.

We were nine women traveling together, and the apartment was spacious with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was plenty of space and all necessary kitchen equipment was available. It’s located right in the city center, within walking distance to most places. Unfortunately, there was some dampness in the rooms. The staircase up to the apartment had a strong, unpleasant smell, so we had to hurry through it. No elevator. Great place to stay for a few days, but perhaps not ideal for a longer stay. Overall a nice apartment :)

Prime location right at the end of the Rainbow Street. Took us a few minutes to locate the door. Can be a bit loud due to action on the street but still had no issues sleeping. Very comfortable for family of 5. Shower has strong sulfur smell due to geothermal heating of water but that’s fine. Room was clean and kitchen had most things we needed. Could have used a pair of oven mitts for taking things out of the oven safely. Thanks for a great stay. We love Iceland. Only about a 15 minute walk to/from the bus station which is convenient.

There were quite a few issues with the apartment. The bathroom shower had a major leak spraying water all over. The tv did not work ( we were able to fix by re-booting it). There was large mold spores on the ceiling over the sitting room in the bedroom. We emailed them first day. What we got on day 2 was a mop and two batteries left outside the entrance to the apartment! We had to wrap a towel around the shower faucet for the rest of the week! Also, you have to stand on a chair to reach the microwave ( the refrigerator underneath stays open while putting things in and out of the microwave. Also, the freezer needs to be defrosted too. The air circulation is bad too. And be prepared for a very noisy location. We mentioned all this and nothing was done! Very disappointing. Only good thing was that the place was clean and kitchen and bathroom well supplied.
