Just an overall very pleasant stay, in such a characterful building; amazing the room considering this. I had a lovely view, out of the window at the river and the old Thames Sailing Barges. The Staff couldn't do enough for you, helpful, friendly and considerate. I stayed for 3 nights and I would defy anybody if they could eat 3 Full English Breakfasts. I didn't get hungry again till well into the evening. The bar had a nice feel to it, and was well stocked, for the thirsty traveller. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the staff, for making my stay, so enjoyable

Spent 2 nights at Fish on the Quay and would definitely return. Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. It's a very old building so the stairs to the rooms are very steep and the floor in the bedroom was uneven. The room itself was dated but it had character! We had dinner there and both the food and the service was top notch. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. Kieran was very friendly and helpful and all of his staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Parking can be a bit hit and miss as there is nothing directly outside but there is public parking in the town centre. Very dog friendly and we would highly recommend the Fish on the Quay for an overnight stay and as a place to eat.

From the time we arrived until we left we had the very best of times. Clean room, great staff, Kieran, Johnny and Summer were awesome. And overall the food was absolutely delicious.. from breakfast through to and including the Sunday toast with delicious cauliflower cheese!! Highly recommended

15th century building with the charm & quirks you would expect. Hotel is right on the water and we had a lovely view from our room. Location of hotel was great just a short walk to the high street with lots of shops , bars and restaurants. Also a stones throw away from promenade park. The best thing about our stay was the staff. Kieran, Jess and the team are fabulous they made us feel so welcome and they were super helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing, good choice and quality ingredients. Came as quests and felt like we left as friends, we will be back ! Thanks for a great stay
