The staff was great as well as the location. It was next to a food area but shut down at 22:30 so it was awesome The room was very big however it was stuffy and hot. The front desk offered to move our room but that was too much like work so they sent up a fan and we opened a window and that worked well.

I liked the hotel overall - location was convenient, a very short distance to a street with food options and shops, and a walkable distance to the twin pagodas perfect for a night stroll. The city itself as well as the property seemed slightly dated, but nothing that was unclean or uncomfortable, and the room actually had a pretty smart layout and was functional. Breakfast was not bad, varied enough, although I like the Chinese food > western food on offer there (the noodles were great!). The one thing that I did not like was the independently-operated travel desk attached to the hotel who kinda ripped me off… so would be cautious booking from them and maybe price compare first. But the hotel itself was a decent choice for a brief stay in Guilin!

It is a very walkable location in downtown Guilin. 10 minutes to the Li Jiang river. A undergroud discount market just beside the hotel. Breakfast is delicious and many choices. I like this hotel.
