We arrived in Düsseldorf on a very hot day, and the room we were assigned was large and quiet since it faced an inner courtyard. However, it was impossible to sleep on the first night due to the high temperature inside the room, even with the window open. Since it was the end of April, we were told that the air conditioning system was not yet active, and additionally, the floor of the room emitted strong heat (perhaps due to some hot water pipes passing underneath?). The next day, we asked to change rooms for the remaining nights of our stay. We were accommodated, but the new room faced the street and was noisier, although it had a much nicer view.
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the city, with restaurants, shops, museums, and public transportation easily accessible. The staff were consistently friendly throughout the property. The breakfast offering was decent.
