Ganz OK, aber etwas außerhalb und kein Luxus

Wir hatten ein "Deluxe" Zimmer. Eigentlich ganz nett, es wurde aber trotz warm eingestellter Lüftung nicht warm. Das Waschbecken im Bad war winzigst und direkt unter einer Ablage. Zum Waschen nicht zu gebrauchen und es läuft alles daneben. Auch die Umgebung wirkt nachts etwas bedrohlich und es ist in unmittelbarer Nähe nicht sonderlich ordentlich...

Tæt på og så alligevel

Super fint hotel - dobbelt dyne er bare ikke lige mig, slet ikke med min 14-årige dyne stjæler af en datter. Lå fornuftigt ift. Oxford Street, Hyde Park og Madame Tussauds, 10-15 min. gang fra Undergrunden, det er vel okay. Når vi kom retur til værelset om aftenen, havde vi en duft af indisk mad fra restauranten i stueplan - det duftede dejligt.

A bit out of the way but room was immaculate.

It’s a bit out of the way - 10 mins walk up the Edgware Road from the tube station and inconspicuous from the outside - looks like a pub. But the welcome was great and the food smelt amazing. My room was on the 4th (top floor) - it was beautifully decorated and totally silent like a cocoon. I slept like a log. Breakfast was low key but friendly service and great coffee. Will stay again.

Great Indian dinner in the pub and really nice and friendly staff. Small but comfortable room with a nice en suite. I think complimentary bottled water in the room would be a nice touch and something we missed. Other than that the rest was as expected.

Disappointing

This is the second time I have stayed there, the first time was very lovely. This time was disappointing. The Deluxe room was quite small compared to last time. There was damage in the room, and one of the lights was not working. On top of that, the bathroom had only one towel for two people and no bathmat. And to add insult to injury there was no hot water in the morning - and no communication about it. When I was checking out, as I was rushing to work, I informed the staff of these instances & they apologised and said about the hot water would be back on in 40minutes - which would be too late. There was no offer of any thing - not even a free breakfast. I have to say very disappointing.
