The stay was a pleasure – the location of the hotel just 15 minutes' walk from the train station or the Dome, the very kind hosts providing any information you need, the substantial and high-quality breakfast included, the spacious room, and the impeccable linen. A big plus is the hotel garden which is full of flowers and where you can have moments of relaxation or conversations.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rita Major. The rooms are basic, but the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was great, and we were close to both the train station and a bus stop that took us to the historic centre in 5 minutes.

Very nice accommodations.

The lobby and breakfast area were very charming. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a problem with the air conditioning so we slept with the window open which was fine except for the noise late at night and then again in the morning. The staff apologized for the problem.

Family owners property. Everyone was nice, from the ladies from the reception area to the Father and 2 son owners. Breakfast spread was nice. Cappuccino, Cafe Americano and Espresso are great. You will wake up with the smell of freshly baked Cornetto 😄 The room was huge. Comfortable beds, bathroom with toiletries and blow dryer. Please consider the flight of stairs when traveling with huge check in luggage anlthough we were assisted by a lady. Towels and bum towels are changed daily. The area has a good number of Osteria, caffe’s and gelsteria nearby. One of the son’s owner Allan I think even accommodated us for early breakfast since our train to Venezia was a little early. We stayed for 4 nights and it was really lovely. They even requested a cab for us since our esim can only do data calling.

Une chambre propre cette mais cela ne fait pas tout. Nous avions la chambre numéro 8. Dans la cours de cette chambre se trouvent tous les moteurs de Clim. Autant vous dire que nous Avon que l’impression d’être dans un avion toute la nuit. La literie est confortable mais les coussins eux sont à changer car ultra plat. Un petit déjeuner correct. Un emplacement proche du centre accessible à pieds. Attention la taxe de séjour est à payer en espèces. Ce qui sauve cet hôtel c’est son personnel qui est charmant et sympathique.

Lovely quiet hotel, perfect stay

Very quiet hotel, room was comfortable and clean, nice bathroom and shower. My room was on the ground floor and over looked the courtyard which was a lovely place to sit and relax. Air con worked well and was very welcome! Breakfast was included and perfectly adequate if you like a continental breakfast. Reception staff very helpful, providing map of Florence and directing to where I wanted to be. Would come back in an instant!

Esforçados, mas........

As equipes, de recepção e café da manhã são esforçadas em prestar bom atendimento. A acomodação que me destinaram é muitíssimo antiquada. Tem-se a impressão de recente tentativa de modernização, porém com nítida preocupação com economia excessiva. Exemplo, banheiro onde sequer existe um suporte para papel higiênico. O mesmo fica apoiado em um banquinho de plástico. O local onde fica o chuveiro não tem box ou sequer uma cortina. Ao tomar banho, molha-se todo o banheiro, inclusive o vaso sanitário. A minha acomodação reservada na Hotéis.com foi de cama king, e na realidade,bo quarto tinha duas camas de solteiro juntas. Outra situação absurda é exigir que a taxa de turismo seja paga em espécie. Justificativa: taxa cobrada pela instituição de crédito. Falta raciocínio. Obs: não foi possível anexar os vídeos que comprovam meus destaques.

Hôtel au charme ancien, aux chambres simples et sans chichi. Personnel serviable et accueillant. Situé dans la zone à circulation limitée, sans possibilité de se stationner sur place. Cependant, un autre hôtel en dehors de la zonne offre des places de stationnement à des tarifs predefrentiels (15euros/jour). Excellent petit déjeuner, établissement calme.

Solo female travel approved

I have been working and traveling in Florence for over a month and my job had placed me at different hotels and this was by far my favorite, especially as a solo female traveler in a foreign country. This is a family run business with the absolute sweetest employees who will help you with everything and are so great to chat with. I felt so safe and cared for. The breakfast is amazing and traditional European / Italian with croissants, cheese, ham, yogurt and fresh fruit. I got a cappuccino every morning before work. The bed and room were very comfortable and had everything you could need and was cleaned DAILY by their amazing staff! I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends and family because it is about a 15 min walk to the duomo so you can escape the craziness of the city center here and the 31 / 32 / 14 / 6 and c bus lines are right outside the hotel which makes getting places super easy. I took the 31/32 bus to the train station easily for a quick beach day trip.
